EGW’s Mauser 98 LR (3-Hole) Undrilled 0 MOA rail is built for shooters who want a rock-solid, no-fuss way to get glass on their old military Mauser without butchering the rifle. Machined from domestic 6061‑T6 aluminium and finished in a hard-wearing matte black anodise, it gives you a true Picatinny platform that runs the full length of the action. That means plenty of room to set your eye relief properly, run night optics, or add accessories without running out of rail. This is the undrilled version, so your gunsmith can place the holes exactly where they need to be for your specific receiver. The base sits about 0.4" above the receiver, keeps weight down with a relieved centre channel, and still plays nicely with factory irons on many rifles. It’s cut for standard Picatinny/Weaver rings, ambidextrous by design, and made in the USA from start to finish. Bolt it on with 20 in‑lb and a dab of blue Loctite and you’ve got a dependable, repeatable mounting solution that will cop Aussie field conditions without complaint.
