Product Overview

The original thermal scope, perfected, now with a 1280 sensor. The Thermion 3 LRF XT60 is Pulsar's new flagship thermal scope, and a long-awaited one. Pulsar has done 1280 in binoculars and a monocular, and now it's finally in a scope.

At its heart is a 1280x1024 HD sensor with a 12µm pixel pitch and system NETD under 20mK, paired with a 60mm F1.0 objective. The result is serious detail, and it all fits in the same size housing as the 640 XR60.

The 1280 sensor also gives you a 2-16x magnification range with a 25.7m field of view at 100m, so you can scan wide at base mag and still zoom in hard when you've found what you're after.

Pair that with the new side-mounted rangefinder, day scope style controls and the swappable APS5 battery system, and the XT60 ticks just about every box.

Key Features

  • 1280x1024 HD sensor. Under 20mK NETD and a 60mm F1.0 objective. Pulsar's best image ever in a Thermion.

  • Wide 2-16x magnification. A 25.7m field of view at 100m makes scanning easy, with 20mm click value at 100m.

  • Same size as the XR60. All that resolution without a bigger, heavier scope on your rifle.

  • Up to 8.5 hours of runtime. From swappable APS5 batteries, so carry a spare and keep going all night.

  • Side-mounted laser rangefinder. The 1,200m LRF now sits on the side of the housing instead of on top. It's still external to the lens, so it doesn't take anything away from the 60mm objective, and the scope keeps a much cleaner profile than the Thermion 2.

  • Controls that feel like your day scope. Zoom ring at the back, focus on a top turret. It's the layout you already know, so finding things in the dark is second nature. The focus is nice and firm so it won't get bumped, but still moves smoothly.

  • A ranging button all on its own. The LRF button sits on the side, away from the menu buttons on top. Your thumb finds it without fumbling, and you won't hit the wrong button mid-range.

  • Encoder wheel for freeze frame. Borrowed from the Trail 3. One click freezes the image without pushing on the scope, so your reticle stays on target.

  • Small things done right. The USB port opens with a rotating cover and the battery cap is hinged, so there's nothing loose to drop in the paddock.

  • Palettes that hold up. All 9 colour palettes stay crisp, so you can run green or another easy-on-the-eyes palette without the image turning to mush.

  • 65mm eye relief and a 2560x2560 AMOLED display. Comfortable behind the gun, with a big, sharp, high-contrast picture.
