Product Overview

Keep your Hornady Lock-N-Load AP running like it should with this genuine Hornady 392344A Pawl. This small but critical component is what engages the index wheel and advances the shell plate from station to station, giving you the smooth, positive indexing that progressive reloaders rely on.

Machined as a robust, factory-spec replacement, the 392344A Pawl restores crisp, consistent shell plate movement when the original part has worn, chipped, or gone out of adjustment. Fitted in pairs on the AP press, fresh pawls help eliminate timing issues, erratic indexing, and the “double click” feel that signals a tired mechanism. Drop one in as preventative maintenance or keep a spare on the bench – with the right pawl in place, your Lock-N-Load AP stays reliable, repeatable, and ready for long loading sessions.
