The self-developed 640 sensor with <18mK NETD and a fast 60Hz refresh rate gives you a clean, detailed image that stays smooth when you’re panning or tracking moving game. Reality+ image processing sharpens up the picture in fog, drizzle and cold air, so you can pick animals out of the background instead of guessing at blobs. Out in the paddock, the H50R’s 2600 m detection range, integrated 1200 m laser rangefinder and onboard ballistic calculator take the guesswork out of longer shots. The 3x optical magnification, wide field of view and generous 50 mm eye relief make it easy to get on target quickly and stay comfortable behind the rifle. A tough one-piece aluminium alloy tube, IP67 weather rating and tested resistance to heavy 1000G recoil mean it’ll ride out rough utes, hard knocks and big calibres without losing zero. Power is sorted too. A 9000mAh dual-battery system – 5000mAh built-in plus a swappable 18650 – gives you up to 12 hours of continuous runtime, so you can run a full night without nursing batteries.
