HELION 2 thermal imaging scopes are based on IR sensor (uncooled microbolometer) technology, and are represented by a number of models featuring various frame rates, magnifications and lens diameters.

These scopes are designed for use both at night and in the daylight. They are also able to be used in inclement weather conditions (fog, smog, rain) and to see through obstacles hindering detection of targets (branches, tall grass, thick bushes etc.).

Unlike image intensifier tube based night vision devices, Helion thermal imaging scopes do not require an external source of light and are not affected by bright light exposure.

Pulsar’s Helion 2 XP50 PRO is a sleek and powerful thermal monocular packed with cutting-edge features and technology. The Helion 2 XP50 PRO detects heat signatures up to 2000 yards and displays them on a flawless 1024x768 AMOLED display. With 2.5-20x magnification and a large 50mm objective lens, the Helion 2 XP50 PRO boasts 8x variable, digital zoom with a wide field-of-view. Masterfully programmed, this thermal monocular features built-in recording with sound, 8 color palettes and 16Gb of memory storage. Wi-Fi connectivity enables the Helion 2 XP50 PRO to synchronize with the Stream Vision app so you can share your Pulsar memories. Compact and lightweight, the Helion 2 XP50 PRO is remarkably durable with its magnesium alloy housing and IPX7 waterproof rating. Whether you’re hunting, ranching, providing security or conducting a search and rescue, the Helion 2 XP50 PRO has you covered!

THE NEW LEVEL OF THERMAL SPOTTING

Highly Sensitive Thermal Imaging Sensor

An advanced NETD <40 mK sensor produces precise detail recognition imaging even in adverse weather conditions like rain and fog. Even when thermal contrast is low, small temperature differences are clearly visible with richly contrasted, high-resolution imaging.

High Definition Image

Sharp, richly contrasted thermal imaging for enhanced identification of animals, their extremities and even the smallest details, i.e. branches, leaves, grass and terrain.

Variable Digital Zoom

Digital zoom, up to 8x depending on model, provides improved focus and better overall object recognition at significant distances.

Pulsar’s proprietary Image Boost Technology

is comprised of software algorithms designed to increase imaging clarity and overall image detail. Image Boost results in a sharper, more detailed field of view and enhanced object identifcation capabilities.

Long detection range up to 1800 m

Powerful objective lens in combination with professional grade thermal imaging sensor with NETD 40 mK provides exceptional detection capabilities. A standard 1,8m tall object can be detected at a 1800 m distance in complete darkness.

Full color AMOLED technology Display

New display delivers crisp, richly contrasted, vividly colored field of view, AMOLED technology ensures flawless, fluid, high-resolution imaging and power saving.

Built-in photo and video recorder

The Built-in video recorder is a great asset when it comes to filming or taking photos of once-in-a-lifetime experiences. One press of the REC button captures footage that can be shared easily with colleagues, friends and family. 16 Gb of internal memory provide many hours of recorded video and tons of photos.

8 Color pallets

The 8-color palette enhances viewing in varying conditions. While the classic “White Hot” mode is exceptionally versatile, “Hot Black” is often favored for detecting wildlife at night. Red monochrome helps to reduce or prevent bright backlight from exiting the eyepiece. Sepia often improves long-range observation while “Red Hot”, “Rainbow” and “Ultramarine” enhance temperature differences of various object attributes. Violet helps to identify objects faster.

Wi-Fi. Integration with IOS and Android devices

Built in Wi-Fi module provides connectivity of thermal imager with Android or iOS smartphones or tablets. The smartphone and thermal imager combination offers a set of unique features such as direct image streaming, downloading and sharing recorded files, firmware update and many other.

More features

Power Supply System B-Pack

Helion includes a progressive autonomous B-Pack power supply consisting of a quick-detach, rechargeable IPS7, 6.4 A-h battery pack designed to deliver over 10 hrs. of operation on maximum mode. Higher-powered IPS14 battery packs, as well as AA battery cases, also are available and provide a perfect off-the-grid power solution.

Stadiametric rangefinder

Helion has a stadiametric rangefinder performed in the shape of rangefinding reticle which enables distance measuring to observed objects with known height (deer - 1,7 m; boar – 0,7 m; hare – 0,3 m) with a sufficient precision.

High image frequency

Due to the high image frequency (50 Hz) it is comfortable to use thermal camera dynamically (during rapid moving of observer or object of observation).

Updatable Software

For initial setup and additional updates, the iOS and Android compatible Stream Vision App ensures the most recent Helion software versions are available.

External Power Supply

Helion makes charging from external sources, such as power banks, fast and easy with a micro-USB jack. The convenience of power-bank charging even enhances the ability to power up the Helion during extremely cold weather while also protecting the source from rapid discharge.

User-friendly interface

The Helion is designed with ease-of-operation in mind. User feedback has resulted in the most friendly interface to date, complete with an easy-to-read, icon-driven, alpha-numeric status bar at the bottom of the display. Internal menu items and options are also displayed on a contrasting gradient substrate so you can keep an eye on settings without losing sight of your objective.

Wide range of operation temperatures

Helion thermal imaging scopes are effective for the use in low temperatures (-25°C) thanks to the frost-resistant AMOLED display employed in the unit (image remains the same as when viewing at positive temperature of the surrounding atmosphere).

Display Off

When it is necessary to temporarily stop observation the user can apply Display Off function. It provides the necessary level of camouflage (no light from the eyepiece of the device) between observation sessions as well as the fast restart of observation (when display is turned off, all other systems are working; for normal operation it is enough just to power on the display again).

16 Gb Internal memory

16 Gb of memory offers enough space for recording and taking photos of exciting moments. Recorded files can be later downloaded to PC or smartphone.

Picture-in-Picture

Picture-in-picture displays a magnified image at the top-center 10% of the overall field of view for precise zooming on an object of interest.

IPX7 Waterproof Rated

IPX7 waterproof-rated for protection from rainfall, snow or other precipitation. The unit is designed to run flawlessly, even after submersion in up to 3 feet of water for up to 30 minutes.
